I was upgraded to a superior double room though booking.com ☺️. Room was lovely with four poster bed , couch and tv on wall . Also room was lovely and warm . Had big walk in shower and wee paid 7.50 each to us the leisure facilities which was reasonable and good to have this just to relax , have swim, jazzuca , sauna unfortunately the steam room not working. They also have gym but I never used but look good. Food was lovely Dinner and Breakfast I.ve been to this hotel a few times so will be back again when fancy wee night away and not to far from home ☺️

The hotel was nice with good facilities, pool, jacuzzi and restaurant. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and food came out quickly. Bathroom was clean and so was the room. Easy check in and check our with reception being informative.

Plenty of parking. EV charger on site although I didn't use it. Room was nice, if a little warm. Dinner was good. Checkout was fast. Great location, short walk to the river front & not too far to walk into Broughty Ferry.

The location of the hotel is good. You are a short walk to the village and the beach with lovely walks along the esplanade. The staff are friendly. The bar is inviting and there is always good people watching to be done. Especially when there is a wedding party. The room was quiet and cosy.

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We could open the windows a bit which was good. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was a “serve yourself” affair which was fine. The staff brought food orders and there was no problem with that. Dinner was basic, but good and it was possible to get food that was not riddled with chilli peppers and other hot spices. The waiting staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pool was at a nice temperature and the spa pool very soothing after a day walking on pavements.

We had a warm welcome on arrival at the hotel. The place has a lovely relaxed and welcoming feel, we felt at home there straight away. Our room was comfortable, quiet and spacious with a nice bathroom. We absolutely loved the pool and spa facilities which were well worth the small extra fee to use during our stay. I had a wonderful massage from Christine which was a good price and easy to book too. The bar has a good vibe with well priced drinks and snacks. The bed was comfy, and you can cast your own shows to the TV which was excellent. It was easy to book a table for dinner, the food was tasty with a home-cooked feel to it. Service was good.

I stayed for one night with one of my friends. We booked into the hotel at 4pm. We used the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna etc before we had dinner, swimming etc again the next morning before breakfast. The staff are all lovely. Very professional and helpful. The rooms were big, clean and well equipped. Tea and coffee provided. With large tv, and also ironing board and iron. We had a lovely relaxing time. Will definitely be back next year. Would recommend to all.

The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. We were able to check in when we arrived which was before check in time. The lady at reception was lovely. Breakfast was great. Great variety, abd staff so welcoming and nothing was a bother. The hotel grounds were lovely. Great location too. The bedrooms are a little tired and could do with an upgrade. Spacious for a family of 3. Pool was great, but was a bit excessive to have to pay extra for it.

I booked the cheapest room wich happend to be up two flights of stairs, my colleque asked if there was a lift they said no, he walked back into the bar and a member of staff followed him and they gave me an upgrade free of charge on the Ground floor(ive had a heart attack and have a device ICD fitted),so well done Best Great Western, and thank you, great staff and a good breakfast.

The location was really nice, just far enough out of the way of Dundee city centre to be quite secluded, and close to Broughty Ferry beach just off the Tay, but close enough to drive into Dundee in around 10-15 minutes. The rooms were good size, as was the swimming pool and the breakfast served was good too.
